A1 Training Services provide professional training to the highest quality. Our courses are comprehensive, individualized and specifically geared to give you, the trainee, the very best chance of passing your test first time. With A1 Training Services you will be put through a carefully structured training programme under the supervision of a fully qualified and registered instructor.

Prior to the commencement of a training course we can provide assistance in obtaining a Medical Report, Provisional LGV Driving License and LGV theory test, we also provide a pre-course driving assessment to determine the duration of practical training required to meet the DSA test standard.

Class C1 (7.5 Tonne)

This course is for learners to enable them to drive a Class C1 (rigid) vehicle.

The ideal way of learning to drive an LGV is by attending a block course of training. Our aim is to gradually develop your skills and knowledge over the prescribed period of training enabling you to reach test standard by the completion of the course

A driving assessment will determine the duration of the course. A1 Training Services are able to offer courses flexible in duration depending on the results of the driving assessment.

The driver training course will include:

On the road driving tuition with a DSA registered instructor
Manouevring exercises
Awareness and Planning
Highway code
Vehicle safety checks
