A1 training group is dedicated to helping you pass your test. Most candidates get in touch with us within 24 hours of failing their HGV practical test to discuss next steps, retest pricing and refresher training availability.
If we haven’t heard from you, we’ll contact you after 48 hours to help you get back on track and rebook your test.

HGV Retest Costs And Additional Training Charges.
If you and your instructor have agreed additional targeted practice before your retest, we’ll arrange the additional lessons at times that are convenient to you.
Any refresher training will be focused on the areas identified in your feedback, training record and DVLA report to help you pass your next HGV test.
• Retest price: £379 (incl. VAT)
• Optional extra training: £110 per hour (incl. VAT). Hours required are based on the assessment and retest plan agreed with you.
