Fast Track Options Now Available: In November 2021, significant changes were made to the HGV licence categories in the UK, allowing aspiring drivers the option to go directly to C+E (Class 1) without first acquiring the C (Class 2) or C1 licence. This means that drivers can now opt to take the training and test for the largest HGV/LGV category (also known as Class 1), which allows you to drive any vehicle and trailer combination, without having to obtain the `rigid lorry` category Class C licence.
